Shirakobato Suijo Koen ... December 7th

On December 7th, we went to a place called Shirakobato Suijo Koen

There was a Kid’s Mochitsuki Taikai there and I tried it for the first time. This is where the kids get to try helping to make the sticky steamed rice ... you have to get the big heavy hammer thing and bash the rice in the big bucket to make it all sticky...

Later, we had some Mochi ( the sticky rice) well I did not have any because I don't really like Mochi, but Mum had some with grated White Raddish and Soy Sauce and my sister Emily had some with Sweet Red Bean paste...

Ibaraki Nature Museum !

Hi Everybody, on December 5th we went to the Ibaraki Nature museum in Ibaraki. It was a lot of fun...

In this picture you can look in the back of the animals heads and see the world through a cat's eyes or fish eyes. BUT, Emily is looking from the wrong side... because she thinks tha cat is very cute...


This is a special place in the park of the museum and it is called "Ancient Park"... it looks very old...

In this photo, I am coming down a hole from a huge trampoline in the playground...

and in this photo here is Emily and me having a lot of fun....

Going to Tokyo Disneyland !

I know that this is now January 21st, but now that we are home, I found some more photos from our BIG holiday.

On the 2nd of December we went to Tokyo Disneyland with Baaba. They had a special 25th Anniversary at Disneyland to celebrate because Tokyo Disneyland has now been open for 25 years !

Baaba had a lot of fun and it was her first time to visit Disneyland too.

It was very cold, so there was not a lot of people there. But that was good because we did not have to queue up for very long.
