Nakatajima Sakyu - BIG BIG Sand dunes VERY COOL !
ON the 24th of November, we went to a place called "Nakatajima Sakyu" where there are big big sand dunes. We thought they were very cool so mum took a couple of photos of me playing on the sand... look like a lot of fun don't you think ?

It was not really very hot, that is why I am still wearing long pants and a long sleeve shirt, but it is almost the middle of Winter in Japan... but not too cold yet...
More photos soon...

At Hamanako PalPal ! on November 23rd 2008
The next day, on November 23rd, we arrived in Hamanako and went to Hamanako PalPal. It is a big amusement park and is VERY cool. Kind of like Disneyland, but with Japanese characters...

and here is a photo of us Kids at Hamanako PalPal having fun...
In the picture is Emily at the end. Then next to Emily is our friend Aiko in the red jumper. She lives in Melbourne too, but is also having a holiday with her mum and seeing her family in Japan. Then, in between Aiko and Me is our friend Sakura. She used to live in Melbourne too, but now lives with her Mum in Japan so we were very excited to see her again ! - I am looking very serious... but I am actually having SO MUCH FUN !

I hope that you are all enjoying seeing photos of our trip. Remember, if anyone wants to leave any comments or messages, I would be so excited to hear from you all.
Anyway, more photos soooooooon....
From your friend in Japan, Mitchell.
Then we went to Hamanako !
Hi Everybody,
On the 22nd of November, Mum and Emily and I went on a big road trip. We borrowed Gigi's car and we drove to a place called "Hamanako" which is a famous lake on the way to Nagoya in Japan. We met some friends of ours from Nagoya and we all had a lot of fun.
Hamanako is 300km from our house and there was a BIG BIG Tokyo traffic jam and it took us ALL DAY to drive there. But we had some rest stops along the way. This picture is one of me and Emily at the Fujigawa Service area in Shizuoka (thats were you can go to the bathroom, and get petrol for the car and have something to eat). Can you see My Fuji in the photo behind us ? it is the most famous Mountain in Japan... can you see it ?

YAY - We Get To See Gigi & Baachan too !
Hello Everybody,
Well we were very excited on this day, because we arrived back and Gigi and Baaba's house in Saitama. We got to see Gigi (our Grand Dad ) and also Baachan too (that is our Great Grandmother - That means she is my mum's mum's mum !) ...
Here is a picture of Emily and Gigi and me in the living room. That funny looking table is called a "Kotatsu" and is a special coffee table with a heater underneathe it. So you sit on the floor and put your legs under the blanket and the heater under the table keeps your legs all toasty and warm... it is very cool.... I was pretending to be asleep in this photo... did I trick you ?

and here is a photo of me and Gigi at one of the parks near our house. It is starting to get cold now because it is Winter in Japan. So we have to wear our warm clothes ...
... I have had lots of fun going to the park with Gigi and I will try and put some more photos on here in the next few days.

Then I get to talk to my Dad !!!
Hi Everybody,
I am learning a lot about computers. Here is a picture of Me in Kyoto talking to my Dad on Skype. This was when we were in the Hotel in Kyoto. Skype is like a telephone on the computer and you can speak to people and see them on a camera too. We could see Dad because his laptop has a camera in it, but Mum's one does not. But we will buy a camera tomorrow so that Dad can see us when we talk to him...

After our adventures in Kyoto, it was time to get on a very fast train and go home to Tokyo to see GiGi (that is what we call Grand Dad in Japan) and Baachan (that is what we call our Great Grandmother. That is my Baaba's Mum !). They live in Saitama, which is near Tokyo.
I will have more photos soon of when I got back to Gigi and Baaba's house, but here is a photo of Emily and I being cool outside Kyoto Train Station...

Here is Emily at the Kiyomizudera in Kyoto !
Hi every body... here is a cool picture of my sister Emily at the Kiyomizudera temple in Kyoto in Japan.
There was a special pickles shop near the temple and this shop was selling special Japanese Daikon, which is like a BIG Japanese White Raddish from Kyoto....

She looks very tired. We did lots of walking around on that day... so I think everybody was tired... Well Done Emily !
More Photos of our 2008 Japan Adventures will be here soon...

This is how you can leave a Message for me !
Hi Everybody.
I thought I would teach you all how you can leave me a message. So I asked my Dad to write down how to do it. It is pretty easy. You just have to do four easy things and you can write me a message right here on my web page ! - That would be very cool.
